Sama Summer sa Samal Island, Davao

It was blistering hot when we went to davao for a little getaway for the labor day long weekend. And since it was a holiday, it was no wonder that there was a long line of vehicles at Sasa Port bound for Samal Island. It was quite a long wait since we started at 8 in the morning but was able to be on the barge at around 1:30 in the afternoon. Good thing though that Samal Island is only 10 mins away and we already made arrangements for lunch.

This is our supposedly itinerary for the trip, however because of the delay it was not really followed through. But don't get me wrong, it was still one heck of an adventure.

Island Hopping

The owners of the rented motor boat for the island hopping was very accommodating. As you can see, they were able to provide not only snorkeling gears and food for the trip but also beers .

The water is very clear, inviting and refreshing. Samal Island is really a place for those who want to explore the beauty over and under the sea :)

► The slide is super cool yet scary at the same time. It felt as if my soul left my body during the "ride".

►The water blob made my knees weak. hahaha I now knew the jumping off to a blubber (even though at a short height) can be super scary.
